Talking to Myself

Here comes that crazy person again...


So I have decided to start talking to myself out loud when I am walking around work.  I figure if users see a "crazy" person coming their way they are less likely to ask me about their computer.  I don't mind a quick question about a relevant topic, but when everyone tries to drag me to their office while I am on my way to an appointment it gets rather irritating.

I would also like to have a random conversation about something other than computers when I run into people. I am not sure what is worse at a party, either (A.) a computer technician answering every question that have saved up about their personal computer problems or (B.) a dentist having to actually stare into peoples' mouths at to see if they have a cavity.  Both problems are caused by user error and neither one is an appropriate topic at a party.

I mean when I see an accountant, I don't ask them to do my taxes...
